A grin spread across Rosalie's face, as she said from the tree to the ground. DAMN! as she fell to the ground hitting some twigs on the way down as the snapped clean off, stupid elk must have heard as it had darted away just seconds before she landed exactly at the same place the deer had been standing. She grinned to herself, before she took chance after the elk. She had to hand it to the animal it was fast, but not fast enough to avoid her. She was one of the fastest creatures on the planet after all. Giving the beast a few seconds head start, she let her feet lead her forward as she picked up full speed really quickly, as her hair flew out behind her. Giving chase against the beast as fast as she could, as she caught back up with her pray surprisingly fast.
At the last minute she launched herself forward again, this time landing on the elk. Bringing it to fast a death as they both collided with the ground beneath them. Her teeth tore at the elks throat before she felt it completely give way, and stop struggling, its heart soon stopped when she was completely finished with it. She flung it to the side if her. She wiped away some blood that had managed to drip down the side of her mouth and across her face She stood up again, composing herself. As she brushed as much of the mud and leaves of her as she could before she started a slow walk through the forest. Hoping to come across another animals track. As she wouldn't have minded hunting some other animal.
Rose came to a sudden holt, standing in the middle of the forest. As she heard the faint footsteps of something, following her, who ever it was wasn’t a normal human she knew that as no one would have been able to follow her as she had been going a fast human pace and wasn’t been slowed by normal obstacles. She spun around looking for who ever it was, but she really couldn't see anything at all. Just leaves and twigs and trees and that was it, nothing else. Weird! She carried on walking forward, before stopping again. "Hey" she spoke this time. Wanting to know who it was that had been tracking her. A grin spread across her face.

Emmett had thought that he was in for a boring day. He hadn’t had anything planned, and so he’d jumped at the opportunity to track Rosalie off into the forest. He had no doubt that she’d notice that he was there eventually. How long would it take? He didn’t really have to worry about making too much noise or anything of the sort, since all of the Cullens had long since perfected the art of moving with nearly complete silence. It would have been hard to hunt if you blundered around making noise all the time – wouldn’t it? He flinched as Rosalie fell toward the ground, snapping off several twigs along the way. At least he didn’t have to worry about her actually getting hurt. She’d missed her target, though, and he knew how frustrating that could be. Though he usually didn’t have to worry about that kind of thing with irritable grizzlies ….
He leaped to the ground as she started off after the elk, careful to keep just out of sight. This was becoming a fun little game to him, a sort of ‘let’s see how long we can keep this up’ kind of thing. Emmett grinned to himself. Honestly, that poor elk didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell. It was only a matter of time before Rosalie caught and killed it. There was no way it could either outrun or outsmart her, logically. Emmett followed along at a safe distance, staying in the cover of the trees as he watched Rosalie take the elk down. She was really something else. Emmett wasn’t really the ‘sneak up and pounce’ kind of hunter. He was more of a ‘get close enough and then wrestle them into submission’ kind of hunter – if that made any sense at all.
He watched in complete silence as she finished with the elk and wiped the blood from her face. She was perfect -- completely and totally perfect. There was a reason that he’d always thought of her as his angel, after all. He started to move again when she started to walk through the forest. There was no way that he was letting her out of his sight now. His grin returned when she stopped in her tracks. Had she noticed him, finally? It had taken her long enough. He watched as she glanced around, looking for the person who was following her. Had he really hidden that well? Apparently he had.
She started walking again … only to stop again a moment later. When she spoke, he finally came out of his hiding place in the trees. “Took you long enough, Rose.” He teased, shaking a stray leaf out of his hair.

She scowled to herself, when she realized it had been Emmett who had been tracking her, her eyes shot daggers when she realised who he had been. That in –the fact that Emmett had been following her and she hadn’t noticed- was frustrating as she hated not being able to see or hear who had been following her, as she no super human power like allot of the family had. She needed to be able to know who was following or with her at all times. Well apparently he could track people well, vampires, as none of the family needed to track any human any more. Even Jasper had pretty much came to terms with the vegetarian diet. She snickered at her husband as he came out of hiding and spoke to her. She couldn't help but smile, she'd have liked to be angry with him, but she couldn't he was just so... perfect everything about him was perfect. Even his more than annoying tendencies.
Her head tilted to the side as she watched Emmett shake a leaf out of his hair. "So how long?" she tried to muster an angry voice. Though it was useless, all she wanted to know was how long Emmett had been tracking or following her for. It wasn't a surprise she hadn't noticed him though, her eyes had been set on the elk. All her sense's had been trained on to the elk, and its death. She smiled at her husband as she awaited an answer from him, she'd really need to pay more attention next time she came out hunting with out any one else. She couldn't afford to not know who was around her all the time. Especially with all the killings in Seattle, which was obviously of a vampire doing. who knows if they'd come to Forks or not, well Alice hadn't seen anything coming to Forks in the next month or so but still it was dangerous for all of the family.
She slowly walked over to Emmett, as the leafs crunched under her light feet, before stopping square in front of him. "Why'd you do it any way... you know i don't need minded all the time" she snarled. This time only a little percent of her anger showing through, though she was more angry with herself than she was with Emmett. As she guessed he'd been bored and needed something and tracked Rosalie through the woods had given him something to do. "Well!" she said tapping her foot gently on the damp leaf covered ground. She only wanted an answer, and then no doubt she would forgive Emmett. She couldn't not forgive him, it wasn’t in her power to be angry at him unless he really did do something that was unforgivable but she couldn’t think of anything he would do that would have the affect on her. He was everything to her, she couldn't be truly angry with him ever.

Damn. If looks could kill, he’d be dead ten times over by now. He should have known that she’d be irritated with him, but he really hadn’t thought about that little detail until now. Thinking things through wasn’t exactly Emmett’s strong point – but then again, Rosalie knew that already. He hadn’t thought of the fact that being followed by an unknown individual might put her on edge. After all, he’d just assumed that she’d somehow know that it was him. He supposed, in hindsight, that maybe it was a bit of a stupid assumption for him to make. He felt a little relieved when he saw that she was smiling. She could never be really and truly angry with him – at least not for any significant amount of time. That was one of the good things about her. She was able to forgive him when he did things she didn’t necessarily like. That’s love for you, right?
She was trying to use an angry tone with him, but it really wasn’t working. How long? He grinned at her. “Well … you know when you tried to pounce on the elk and it got away? Since then.” He’d really been following her a little longer than that, but he didn’t want to risk her being really angry with him – not even for a little while. She really did need to be more careful, though. He could have been some angry, rampaging newborn for all she knew. Then again, that wasn’t really the case. A newborn might have rushed out and tried to engage her in a fight. They weren’t really all about following in silence. Their rainy little town had gotten more dangerous of late, even for vampires who had very little to fear.
He watched her as she came over to stand in front of him. He flinched just a little when she snarled at him. Okay … so maybe she really was angry with him. He wouldn’t be doing this again any time soon – not if this was the reaction he got. “I know, I know. I just had nothing planned, and I thought it would be fun to follow you.” He paused. “You know, see how long it would take you to notice I was there.” He didn’t mention that it had taken her way longer than he’d expected. He hoped that she’d accept his answer and get over it, or he’d be in the doghouse. That wasn’t a place he liked to be. He’d never intentionally do anything to upset her – she had to know that.

Damn! he seen that she missed her target. That really wasn't something she'd wanted him to see, as that was a little embarrassing for her. She'd never really missed her target before. Well she hadn't missed her target in years, she very rarely missed when she was new born as well. She couldn't help but smile at Emmett though; even he had annoyed her with the whole following her when she was hunting. She was still annoyed with herself for not hearing him at all. It was getting dangerous if she wasn't going to be able to pay attention to what was happening around her as well. "You better not tell anyone that i missed the elk" she said this time her voice was full of anger and threat. She didn't want any of the family to know she had missed her target.
"Well don't, i don't like being followed... i'm not like everyone else in the family, i don't have an uncanny ability to be able to protect myself... i mean Edward, he can hear someone approaching him, Alice can see what's going to happen, You can bludgeon the person to death, Jasper... well he's a talented fighter... so can out manoeuvre everyone." she paused. She really was basically the odd one out of the family apart from Carlisle and Esme but they were both way more experience with fighting than she was. "I just can't defend myself like everyone else can" she stated. She'd always been an OK fighter but never anything special. Not like everyone else. She hadn't had the years to practise either which annoyed her.
"Well i suppose that’s ok then..." the you could still tell she was irritated by the tone of her voice. She just hoped Emmett knew she wasn't annoyed at him, more annoyed at herself than anyone else. As it had been her fault she never noticed Emmett following her. She sighed, before turning away from Emmett. As she stalked forward a few paces. All she wanted was to be able to pull her emotions back together. Jeez, Jasper would have had a field day if he could felt what she was feeling. Anger, Sadness, Nervous, Annoyed... it was all so much. As all her emotions just seemed to be flying through her head.
"Emmett... promise me something" she asked. "Promise me you'll never let anything hurt me, ever" she said. As she tried to keep her voice as even as possible. Though she never turned around once whilst she spoke. She didn’t want to see Emmett’s face, she didn’t want him to have to see her like this. It had been a long time since Rosalie had doubted herself at all. She'd always been so sure about everything, till now. She was actually doubting herself... doubting whether she'd be able to defend herself properly in a fight. Well there was a first time for everything. Rose didn't like she wasn't sure of herself. She hated it, but she couldn't help it. She felt so unsure about everything.

Yes, he’d seen her miss the elk. He hadn’t really planned on telling anybody, until she mentioned that he’d better not. Oh, really? And what exactly was in it for him? “Oh, I won’t, baby. Unless it … accidentally slips out.” This was too much fun, really it was. He knew that she’d be embarrassed if he spilled her secret, and he really didn’t intend to. It was just that he always felt the need to mock people a little when he caught them doing something embarrassing. That was just Emmett, plain and simple. Not even Rosalie could escape that side of his personality, no matter how much it might cost him in the near future. What good would embarrassing her in front of the family do, anyway? Edward could probably figure it out for himself.
“Sorry. I won’t do it again.” And he wouldn’t. When he gave his word, he kept it. Rosalie seemed incredibly upset by something that he’d done, and that was frustrating. He hadn’t meant to cause her any emotional anguish – she had enough of that without him adding to it. Why did this bother her so much? Emmett knew that she could take care of herself, when it came down to it. He frowned. She couldn’t defend herself? He slipped an arm around her shoulders. “Rose, you’re one of the strongest people I know.” Maybe not physically, but physical strength wasn’t the be-all and end-all. She might not have been anything special when it came to physical fighting, but she would always be something special to him.
He knew that she was annoyed, but it didn’t seem to be at him. What was going on here? She really shouldn’t be beating herself up over some silly little game he’d played out of boredom. He was left standing alone when she stalked away from him. He really wished that he had Edward’s talent right about now, or even Jasper’s. He hated not knowing what was going on. He was a little surprised by her question. He wouldn’t have thought that she’d need him to say it out loud to know that it was a fact.
“You know I’ll never let anything hurt you. I’ll crush anybody who tries.” And he wouldn’t even have to think twice about it. He didn’t care who it was – anybody that tried to hurt her was finished. He just couldn’t believe that his Rose doubted herself so much. She always seemed so sure of herself and so confident. What had brought this on? Was it the threat of newborns in Seattle?

She knew Emmett was only messing with her now. She was used to it, all the family was used to being messed about with like that from Emmett. It was just his personality, and she'd never want him to be any other way. She thought he was perfect. Everything about him was perfect. Even when he was being annoying like he was now. "See, Emmett, i know you wouldn't tell a soul... 'cause you couldn't live with being able to touch or be near me..." she knew that was one thing that would annoy Emmett. Not being able to physically touch or be near her would tare Emmett apart. But it would do that same to Rose as well, but she could live with that for a while. Longer than Emmett could at least.
"I know, it was my fault any way... i should have been better at listening for things... i shouldn't just let myself go like that" she the last few words out. It was after all her fault. Emmett had only been messing about, he hadn't meant any harm against her. She'd just let herself become too upset with people. She'd let her heart rule her head. Again not a good thing to do. She was normally so much more confident... more happy. She was normally just more in control of her emotions than she had been at that moment. "I might be strong to you, but really i'm not... i'm easily beatable" she said. Her voice had came back to a normal octave. Though she still felt a little messed up. It would sort itself about eventually it always did.
"Em, its not you that’s upset me... just know that" she said as she reached, to grab at Emmett's hand. Just being around Emmett made her feel more at home. Made her feel comforted. She was already starting to be able to pull herself back together again. Emmett was her life, and not even she could let him think it had been him that had upset her. When it hadn't been. It had just been her, letting her self lose it a little. She supposed it was just with Bella and Seattle everything was going heads up. It wasn't what Rosalie had ever thought would happen. She didn't want Bella as part of the family as she was a human, who had the ability to have everything yet she wanted to throw it all away to become a monster.
"I know" she said. Before turning around, to look at Emmett. She didn't want to be in this state around him. It wasn't fair on him having to see her like this. She wraped both her arms around Emmett. "Sorry" she said. Before she smiled, letting her lips pull back over her teeth. She inhaled, as she inhaled Emmett’s scent. "you need to go hunting?" she asked him. As she wouldn't have minded going hunting again. So she could let herself lose control again. Letting herself be able to beat the hell out of what ever poor animal got in her way.

Yes, Emmett was messing with her. How could he not? When the opportunity presented itself, he ran with it. He just couldn’t help himself, really. It wasn’t like he ever did it maliciously. It was all in good fun, when Emmett chose to make fun of you. He listened to what she had to say, and shook his head. So, she was trying to use that card on him? Well, two could play that game. “That threat might work, if you could come through on it. You can’t, though. You need to those things just as much as I do.” Maybe not, but he really wasn’t afraid to call her bluff. Even if she did go through with it, she had to give in eventually. Emmett knew he’d probably be the first to give, though, and that annoyed him. No matter how strong he was, there were still ways to beat him. Nobody knew that as well as Rosalie.
Her fault? None of this was her fault. It was hard not to let yourself go when you were hunting. “It’s not your fault.” He didn’t come out and say that it had been his fault, but … the assumption could be made. He hated that she was so upset and unhappy, even if it was just in this one little moment. He wanted Rosalie’s life to be all sunshine and daisies – which was a pretty unrealistic hope to hold out. Still, he wanted to be sure that he could at least make her life a happy one. Still, it sounded like she had some issues that he might be able to do nothing about. He knew there were some issues that could never be resolved entirely, but hopefully this wasn’t one of them.
So, he hadn’t upset her? That thought brought a smile to his face. Good. He hated to think that he’d been the one to make her upset. He closed his hand around hers. Whatever she needed him to do or say to reassure her – she just had to ask. It didn’t matter what it was. Emmett had no idea that Rosalie’s thoughts had strayed to Bella. Emmett saw Bella as a part of the family, plain and simple, and he knew that eventually she’d become one of them for real. He knew what Rosalie’s problem with Bella was, but he didn’t want to get involved. That was for the two of them to deal with. He wasn’t going to touch that one with a ten-foot pole.
Emmett would never let anything hurt Rosalie, not in a million years. Not in an eternity. He hugged her; he hoped her little moment of uncertainty was over. She had nothing to worry about. “Don’t worry about it.” His arms constricted, pulling her even closer. What had she said? Did he need to go hunting? He hadn’t really been thinking about that need, but now that he was the answer was obvious. “Yeah. You want to join me?” Hunting might do Rosalie some good right now. [/blockquote]

Rosalie knew exactly how to win in an argument with Emmett, though she wouldn't be able to hold out on any threat she made against Emmett about keeping away from him. She had her needs just as much as Emmett had, though she didn’t make that known to many people. "Are you saying that i wouldn't be able to keep away from you?" if he tested the subject. Rose would probably try her luck at it, though she knew she wouldn’t be able to hold out long. Though it would be interesting for her too see how long she could keep away from Emmett, physically at least. She'd never be able to separate herself completely from Emmett, that was a stupid thing to think, she knew she’d never be able to do that. That was impossible for her to even consider doing. He was the reason Rosalie kept going everyday. If you took him away from her, she wouldn't be able to even consider carrying on as a vampire. She'd rather be buried under the ground somewhere. Dead. Emmett was her everything.
So like Emmett to try and persuade her it wasn't her fault, when she felt like it was. Well truth be told, neither of them were to blame that much, if Rose really set her mind on determining a fault in the mess she would have worked that out for herself. Rosalie had just been in a fragile state of mind. Which was happening more and more often these days. The closer she knew Bella came to becoming a vampire. The worse it was for Rosalie. She knew Bella wouldn't listen to Rosalie's reason's for not becoming a vampire. But she needed to say something to her, 'cause Rose couldn't just let her be prepared to go through three days of sheer hell. Feeling the flames burn through you like you were actually on fire, as it the pain raced through you veins. Then haveing to cope with the thirst and everything. No longer being ruled by your head but being ruled by your thirst? and plus. She was giving up children... basically anything that could ever really matter. Rosalie didn't understand how she could do that.
She let Emmett constrict his arms around her, as she moved both her arms around his waist. So she couldn't be moved away from him. She would have been happy to spend the rest of eternity like this, just holding on to him, keeping him as close to her as she could. Just her and Em, just the two of them together. It was enough, it was all she needed -excluding blood of course. As she'd always need that.
"If you don't mind... i'd like to go with you" she smiled. Her teeth gleaming as she looked up at him, pulling away from his vice like grip so she could look up at him. She let her arms drop, from his side before she pulled away fully from him. Dodging out of his arms. Before she quickly leaned up kissed him on the lips. Turned around a ran full out. "Come on then" she shouted before she turned around to see were Emmett was, hopefully he would follow her. she grinned, just running stretching her muscles. Was enough to make her calm down fully. This was all she really needed. She just needed to be able to let go. Be a vampire.

Emmett probably shouldn’t have been pushing his luck right then and there. He knew that she was capable of winning, and he really didn’t consider any argument that important. If it came between winning or keeping her happy – he would generally be happy to let the subject drop. Unless it was something really, really important, which this did not seem to be. He shrugged his shoulders. “Are you saying that you would be able to?” He asked. He really hoped that she didn’t decide to try her hand at this, because that could lead to a lot of frustration for both of them – but especially him. He wondered how long he’d be able to hold out. Maybe a couple days, but he didn’t think he could go any longer than that. Why would he want to?
At least, even if they were physically apart, she would always be there. They lived in the same house, and they saw each other every day. That might be enough to keep him going, if she decided to test him that way. Or test herself, whatever she would be getting at. As long as she was there, he’d be fine. Frustrated and irritable to no end, but he’d survive. He smirked at the thought of just how unbearable he’d be to live with. It wouldn’t be fun for anybody, to be honest. Especially not with so much already going on. They couldn’t afford to be less than at their very best right now, in the event that something terrible happened with little warning.
He still couldn’t help but wonder what it was that had Rosalie so stressed. Sure, there was a lot going on, but they’d dealt with stress before. She’d been fine then, so why was she so frazzled now? Emmett wouldn’t have really understood it even if he had known that half of her problem was what Bella was planning on doing. Bella would be safer if she were made a vampire, as far as Emmett was concerned, and then she’d really be a member of their family. She was like family already, but she could never really be one of them until she became a vampire. She would be giving up a lot, but she’d be gaining something too. Being a vampire wasn’t so bad, when you had somebody to spend forever with.
Emmett just stood there silently, his arms around his other half. Now this was perfection. This was the type of thing that made every day worthwhile. The two of them could take on anything and everything together – or so Emmett liked to think. And if there was anything that Rosalie couldn’t handle, then he’d take care of it for her. He nodded when she said she’d like to go with him. He wasn’t expecting her to pull away the way she did, dodging away. She leaned up to kiss him, faster than he could react, and then she was gone. Damn, why did she have to be so fast? Emmett might have been strong, but he wasn’t the fastest Cullen. He laughed, blundering off after her. He didn’t need to be told to follow her. Now this was life!

Rose grinned up at Emmett. "It depends..." she left the argument there. She didn't want to try it any more in case Emmett took the matter way out of proportion and said she couldn't come near him, if he turned the argument around, then Rose would have practically died all over again. That would have been way worse, than anything else. She would have lost her mind basically if that had happened to her. She liked to be the one in control of the rules, of the relationship. Though there wasn't really any that they needed to follow, apart from not to get too carried away in front of the family, as she didn’t want kicked out.
She smiled; thank god she was faster than Emmett. Well if she hadn't have been faster than her husband, and that kiss had lasted longer, she wouldn't have wanted to go hunting. She would have been happy to just stay were she had been. With Emmett, not paying attention to anyone or anything else but him. As allot of her life had been that way anyway, everything she did revolved around Emmett, no decision she made would have been made without her considering Em. She wouldn't have objected to just being with him forever. Who would have? She snickered as she watched her hunk of a husband, charge through the forest in the same manor as always, nothing ever changed with Emmett. Just charging through the forest, knocking what ever got in his way out away from him, but most things –that could move- normally tried to get out the way of him, he was unstoppable sometimes.
She snickered, as she lightly jumped from stones... to damp forest ground... to roots that had sprung out of the ground from the trees. What ever she could jump from she did. Each time she launched herself from another inanimate object her muscles tightened then released forcing her into the air, and forward, letting her lose blonde hair fly out behind her. She like jumping from things more than she actually like running. She wasn't sure why but she guessed it was just the fact that she could see everything so clearly and jumping from objects gave her a better prospective on things. She could see everything so clearly, the insects in the ground it was all so clear. It was weird. She didn't know how she coped when she was human with her dull and moot sense's. Though she hated being a vampire... a monster. It did have its benefits, like her sense's, Emmett, real family. It was all brilliant.
"Em" she said as she pause letting her hearing rule her now, as she listened for an a pack of deer to hunt or something. She stood, she’d already covered quite a distance from were they had been a few moment earlier. She closed her eyes, before listening as carefully as she could. Before she picked up the quiet lapping of tongues towards the riverbank. Her lips automatically pulled back over her teeth, this time not even looking to see if Emmett was following her. She sprinted off, again towards the river, which was nearer the Cullen home. Before she came into the eye line of the deer. She stopped. “Emmett? Which one are you going for then?” she asked in the tiniest voice she could manage so they wouldn’t hear her being there. She didn’t want to frighten them after all.

Emmett had the sense to not push this argument any farther than it had already gone. He didn’t want Rosalie to get defensive and tell him to stay the hell away from her. That would just be all kinds of terrible. He didn’t really want to be the one who made the rules – he was quite happy following whatever law Rosalie decided to lay down, for the most part. There really weren’t many rules for them, really, except those put into place to keep their family members from being uncomfortable. Emmett got carried away pretty easily, and it was probably a good thing that Rosalie could keep him in line if she needed to.
This was not an ideal situation for Emmett. Rosalie was fast, and he was – not quite so fast. He growled in frustration, crouching just a little lower to the ground and picking up the pace a little. He knew that he wasn’t exactly being silent and stealthy, but that wasn’t his aim at the moment. He just wanted to catch up with his beautiful wife and finish what they’d started. Wait, wait. They were hunting, weren’t they? The kiss had momentarily banished that thought from Emmett’s mind, but it was back in full force now. He didn’t bother to slow or be more careful, though. Small woodland creatures tended to get out of his way when he was on the move, if they knew what was good for them.
This was getting ridiculous. She was always close enough to see, but not close enough to reach. Did she have any idea how completely insane she was driving him right now? At least he had his vampiric speed to thank for – nearly -- being able to keep up with her. Nearly. He stopped short when she spoke, taking the last few steps toward her carefully and quietly. He was a good hunter and tracker, when he felt the need to be. He just didn’t often feel the need to be so methodical about something that was supposed to be all instinct. He heard the deer at about the same time that Rosalie did, and took off with her.
He glanced at the herd, trying to pick out which one he wanted. Then, he spotted it. Oh, yeah. That was the one. He gestured toward the large male. “That one.” He said, his voice soft and nearly inaudible, for once. Rosalie would hear it, though. She always did.

Rosalie snickered as she heard Emmett bound along somewhere behind her. He really wasn't the fastest of the family, but he made up for it all in strength. He could beat anything to a pulp pretty much, nothing stood a chance against him. Which of course made him all the more attractive to Rosalie. She smiled to herself that was her Emmett. Nothing else could describe it, he was just Emmett. No one would ever be able to put his personality down to anything in particular. He was just a fool. A big burley, gorgeous fool…
She didn't think twice about what it must have been doing to Emmett, having to follow her like that. Especially when she'd just kissed him, very quickly but it was still a kiss. Of course he’d have been wanting more, and to be honest so was Rose but she wanted to hunt now, that was her first and foremost instinct at the moment as the fire licked up her throat. She snickered to herself. She would of course take up were she left off later on, when she'd hunted some more. She needed the blood too much after all.
Rosalie chuckled to herself, quietly, typical he wanted the biggest deer. He wanted always wanted to kill the biggest of whatever animal he was hunting. Rosalie smiled at Em. Before she lunched forward, dodging out of the way of the trees and branches that might alert the animals to there company.. Eyeing up a deer as fast as she could, of course it was the next biggest that she could get her hands on. This time though she didn't miss it. She felt almost straight away as her fingers gripped the animals torso. As her fingers dug down into the animal so it wouldn't be able to escape even if it tried. She snarled, before her teeth tore into the flesh around its neck. Dinner! Tasty, though it wasn’t as nice as some other animals Rose had tasted it was enough to quench her thirst. The blood quickly rushed down her throat. As she was soon done with the animal. As she let it drop to the floor. As its heart had long since stopped beating and she'd drained every last drop of blood from the animals carcase. She looked over towards Emmett, and his kill.

Yes, being fast wasn’t Emmett’s strong point – no pun intended. His physical strength was much more impressive. And it was a good thing, too. He’d always be able to look out for himself, and Rosalie. She’d never have to worry about that, if he had his way. Never. Emmett didn’t like to think too much about what made him him. He just … was. That was all there was to it. Maybe Rosalie was right, and he was a fool. He certainly acted like one, sometimes. That was just one of the many sides of Emmett. Not that his other sides were any less foolish, he supposed.
Following Rosalie was driving Emmett a little bit crazy, but it was better than the alternative. At least this way he was still close. Besides, the need to hunt was taking over and he was quickly forgetting all about that. He’d remember it, later, when they were finished with the small herd of deer on the riverbank. He noticed the chuckle when he’d singled out his target. He supposed that he was a little bit predictable, but there was really no point for him to go after anything much smaller than that. He needed a lot of blood to satisfy his thirst, and going for anything small just wasn’t going to do it.
He charged toward the herd, his footsteps falling so softly that they could barely be heard. He leapt toward his pray of choice, gripping it with crushing force when it tried to run from him. What, did it think it could actually get away? Hell no. Emmett felt the animal’s ribs crack as he gripped it tighter. He bit into the animal’s neck, ending the pain as quickly as he could. Hey, he had to eat to survive, and this was better than killing people. He kept drinking until there was nothing left, and then let the limp animal fall from his grasp. He wiped at his mouth to clear away any traces of stray blood, grinning over at Rosalie. She was done with her deer, too. All in all, a successful hunting trip for both of them.
“You didn’t miss this time.” Emmett teased.

Rosalie snickered at Emmett as she watched him, before she stood straight up cleaning herself up, brushing some old twigs of her shirt. Now it really was starting to get messy. She'd already been hunting in this top today, and then she'd went again... jeez. She wasn't that found of wearing mucky cloths, it had been a nice shirt as well. Only for the fact that it would look like she had been wearing the same thing for longer than what she really had. There was no doubt about it that she hadn't been wearing the shirt for that long, and it had been brand new as well. Thanks to Alice of course. She had always been good at picking out cloths that would last, but still were expensive but also had the ability to be able to hold on a hunting trip. Rose knew just from looking at the shirt she was probably never going to wear this thing again. Only 'cause it would be faster to just be able to get a new one than worry about the old one.
She snickered as Emmett, that hadn't taken that long. Quicker than what Rose had expected at all. She never liked to prolong hunting things. Not like Jasper did, he loved to tease his prey. Let them know there was something there. Let them run thinking they got away from him. "i see you didn't miss either..." she snickered. Then spring and kill it. It all seemed very fun to Jasper less to Rosalie of course. She didn't care that much as long as she got her meal. That was all that mattered to her. And she liked to go hunting normally more often than the rest of her family, she liked to keep her distance occasionally.
She walked slowly over to Emmett. As she looked at the carcase that was laid limply on the ground. Ouch! looked like Emmett had killed this one pretty fast. But it ribs were also prominent on the beast. As you could tell some of them had been broken. "So..." she spoke, she bit her lip, not to hard obviously as her teeth could slice through her lips so quickly and easily it was scary. She stood in front of Emmett. Before she reached out with her hand and again wrapped her fingers around his. She smiled. Just that feeling of being with Emmett was enough to keep Rosalie going for ever. When you can live for ever what do you live for ehh? Emmett. Was her answer. The only thing she'd want to live forever for.
