Emmett was pretty happy with himself. He’d caught his prey, and he hadn’t even made too much of a mess. Rosalie looked like she’d been through some sort of battle and back, but that was understandable. She’d been hunting twice, and had missed the first time. Emmett was just about ready to let that little mishap go, though. He couldn’t help but laugh at Rosalie as she brushed twigs away. She didn’t seem impressed with the condition of her shirt, but she could always get a new one. He had to give it one thing, though – it seemed to have held up better than most shirts would have.
Emmett shrugged. Him, miss? No way. “I never miss.” Not true, but might as well irritate her while he could get away with it. He usually did catch whatever he was aiming to catch, though. He just had to be close enough when he made his presence known, and they really didn’t stand a chance. He waited for her to make some remark about how everybody missed sometimes. It was the truth, so it really didn’t bother him. He was just a little bit too competitive for his own good was all, really. He watched her as she walked over to him, and noticed her reaction to his kill. Yes, he’d mangled the deer. It hadn’t really been his intention; it had just been the easiest way to get it done.
He couldn’t help but smile when she took his hand again. “So what?” He asked, squeezing her hand just a little. Not hard enough to hurt her, but enough to put a little bit of pressure on. He felt exactly the same way about her as she did about him, and nothing was going to change that. She was definitely worth living forever for, and then some. And it wasn’t just because she was beautiful, either, the way most people assumed it was. It was because he just couldn’t imagine life without her. He needed his angel like humans needed to breathe air. He pulled her into a one-armed hug.
“You feeling better?” He asked, hoping that her answer would be yes. If not, he might just have to resort to extreme measures. What those measures might be Emmett hadn't quite thought of yet.

Rose scowled at Emmett, as he was laughing at her? really. She looked a mess and she accepted that, she couldn’t deny it. Well she looked worse than a mess to any normal vampire. But even in the condition she was in, she knew she would be able to pull a human. "I could still pull though, not that i'd want to look at anyone other than you babe..." she snickered. Her looks were the one thing that she was always pleased with, she loved the way she looked and the cloths she wore. Nearly always looked good on her. Her scowl again faded from her face, she laughed along with him, he was right to laugh any one would have. She looked like hell. "Your right though, i do look... messy" she smiled. Before looking at her shirt again, she tried to brush a few more bits of mud and stuff of her but failed unsuccessfully. It looked like the shirt was definitely going to be chucked away later. She couldn't wait till she got to change into something more... clean.
He didn't miss? That was the biggest load of rubbish she'd ever heard. Emmett relied on his strength to kill something, else it would no doubt hear him approach and run before he had change to get close enough to it. "You don't miss, really? you might be able to pull the wool over everyone else's eyes but me you should no better" she snickered at him. She didn't care whether he missed his prey though, 'cause well, at least it didn't make him totally perfect. Which he was pretty much. "Even Jasper... Jasper gets it wrong occasionally" she snickered, she'd never seen Jasper miss any of his prey before. But that might just have been he was able to concentrate on it all allot more than she ever did. As Jasper needed the hunt more than anyone else did.
She smiled at him, as he squeezed her hand a little. It was nice, just little actions like that made Rose realize that she was loved by Emmett. Nothing could change that, he was her everything and always would be. She smiled up at him, she loved him more than anything else. There was no doubt about that ever. No one could change that, she was much like Edward in the respect that if Emmett left her she wouldn't want to have to live out the rest of her life. And would most likely go to Italy and do again something like Edward had. So she wouldn't have to be apart from Emmett. It was just how she thought it wouldn’t be worth trying to carry on without the one person she wanted to be with for forever. "If I’m not alright, then what’s init for me?" she smiled up at him. As Emmett was quite a bit taller than her. Well only by a couple of inches.

Oh no. She was scowling at him, now. Maybe he shouldn’t have dared to laugh at her? Wait, that was a ridiculous thought. How could he not laugh at her? It was just what he did. She just looked so funny, in her current state of disarray. He raised an eyebrow when she said she could still pull if she wanted to. She was lucky she’d added in that last part, or he might have had to test his little theory about her not being able to stay away from him. She was right; she would always look amazing, even if she was wearing a potato sack.
“You’re right. But so could I.” Emmett answered, laughing at that thought. “As if I’d actually look anywhere else.” To tell the truth, Emmett doubted his abilities in that area. Most people just seemed intimidated by him. Maybe it was the whole height thing? Not a lot of people stood at a height of 6’5”, after all. But it wasn’t like that was his fault, now, was it? Anybody who got to know him figured out sooner or later that he wasn’t as scary as he seemed to look. He nodded when Rosalie agreed with him.
“Yeah, you do. But it works for you.” He didn’t know if he was joking with her or not, now. The fact of the matter was that this was Rosalie. Anybody with eyes could see that she was drop-dead gorgeous no matter what. Rosalie was now trying to brush mud and leaves and the like off her shirt with very little success. It was amusing to watch, really. Emmett knew that she didn’t like looking anything less than perfect, but – she’d always look perfect to him, anyway. Did it matter that she had a bit of mud and leaves on her clothing? Hell no.
Okay, okay. So maybe he missed sometimes. He laughed and held up his hands. “Alright, alright. I may have been lying.” He admitted. He wasn’t perfect, and he didn’t know why he’d thought of pretending to be. Perfection was boring, anyway, unless it happened to come in the form of a certain blonde-haired vampire. Emmett didn’t know if her remark about Jasper was true, though. Emmett had never seen his ‘brother’ miss. “You sure about that? Have you ever seen him miss?”
Emmett was relieved that she was at least smiling, now. That was a good thing, right? He definitely preferred this smiling and happy Rosalie to the insecure and afraid Rosalie of earlier that day. He wasn’t expecting her question. What? What was in it for her if she wasn’t alright? Emmett hadn’t thought about that just yet, and so he decided to just take the easy way out. “Anything you want.” It wasn’t as if he’d ever deny her anything, anyway. He didn’t think he was capable of that.

Well if Emmett did try and get with someone else. Rose would no doubt try and well... the person Emmett had been wanting would no doubts run a mile after they'd met Rose. Not only 'cause no one in there right mind would ever try and compete for someone with her, but also she could be really... really scary at times. She snickered at him, as much as females loved to look at him. No one in there right mind would ever approach him, he was so tall. And he was so un-miss able, you'd have been stupid to go any were near him, he could have been a psycho killer. He had the physique to be one. As no doubts he could kill someone pretty easily, even if he wasn't a quarter as strong as he was now.
"I look a mess Emmett, you can admit it, i don't mind... " she truly didn't care if Emmett came clean and told he she looked complete mess. She couldn't get mad about that right? She’d tell Emmett if he looked stupid or something. So she really didn't mind him saying anything about the way she looked. She'd need to get changed into something clean soon though, she hated looking messy. Well she hated wearing something she couldn't wear out on the streets of Forks. And this -what she was wearing- was something that would draw attention to her if she was to walk through Forks looking like... some homeless person who'd been wearing the clothes for months never mind hours.
She laughed at him as he held his hands up, like he was surrendering. She quickly grabbed one of his hands back down as she didn't want to let go of him ever. Just keeping her hand in around his was enough to keep her happy. "Well... no... but that’s not the point... you haven’t ever seen him not miss have you?... so there’s nothing to say he has ever missed" She teased. She'd never actually seen Jasper miss a target but she'd never seen him not miss one either and every vampire have there off moments. She was sure that Jasper had them sort of moment as well, no matter how good he was at anything. Hunting altering peoples emotions it was all a very good thing to be able to do, but he must have had times when he couldn't hunt perfectly.
She was pretty much a hundred percent back to normal now, what ever had been wrong with her before she didn't know. It was a just moment she was having. It would have been better if she hadn't had that moment but she didn't care Emmett knew everything about her. So knowing she had had an issue. "Well... i can think of many things... but I’ll tell you what they are later... when we're back home" she joked wit him. Well she wasn't joking she'd no doubt later make a move on him. But she didn't feel comfortable doing that with filthy cloths on. As they didn't feel that nice to wear.
She smiled, up at him again. As she pulled is arm around her shoulder so she could lean against him again. She inhaled, he smelled so perfect. Musky... fresh... but still always Emmett. She couldn't not love his scent, it was so perfect. There was no words to describe what he smelled like. Perfection was an understatement, no words could describe him.

Emmett would never have tried to get with anybody else. The idea had never really occurred to him, not seriously. He had everything that he’d ever wanted already, so why did he have to look anywhere else? He didn’t, plain and simple. Besides, any girl would have to be out of her mind to try to compete with Rosalie. He didn’t really have to worry about girls throwing themselves at him, anyway. He was a little too unapproachable for that, in all honesty. The fact that anybody might have thought of him as a psycho killer, though, would have caused him to double over in a fit of laughter. It wasn’t that he couldn’t kill people, it was just that he’d made the conscious choice not to – most of the time. He’d had his moments of weakness, but he liked to think he was getting a little better at resisting temptation.
Emmett shrugged. Okay, okay, so she looked like a bit of a mess. “Alright, I’ll admit it. You’re a bit of a mess right now.” He agreed. He was sure that she’d tell him the same thing, if he looked the way she did right now. Except that he was pretty sure that he wouldn’t be able to look that good while at the same time being a total mess. They had a pretty honest relationship – she wasn’t afraid to tell him when he looked stupid or ridiculous. She did remind him slightly of a homeless person, with all the mud she had on her right now. Not that he’d ever really had much experience with homeless people or anything ….
He was content to stand there and hold her hand, listening to her theory about Jasper. Well … maybe he never had missed. So? What was the point? “Maybe he hasn’t, maybe he has.” Emmett liked to think that maybe Jasper was just as imperfect as the rest of them. Then again, he was the most imperfect member of the family in some ways. They all tried to help him through it, but Jasper’s weaknesses still seemed to cause him a lot of pain. Okay, enough of that. Emmett didn’t want to think about Jasper right now, or anybody except Rosalie. He grinned at her little comment, taking it the only way his brain seemed to know how to.
“Alright. I guess I can wait that long.” Emmett was a little lacking in self-control when it came to certain things, but like everything it was getting better with time. He knew that Rosalie had to want to get out of her ragged clothing, and the sooner they got back the better. His eyes closed for a moment as they stood there, his arm around her shoulder and her leaning against him. This day just kept getting better and better, and it could only go up from here. Rosalie was back to herself, and that made Emmett a very happy vampire.

She smiled as he finally admitted she looked a mess. She really needed to clean herself up a bit, she wasn't the most elegant when it came to killing animals as they crashed to the ground she wasn't like allot of other vampires who seemed to be able avoid getting themselves covered in mud or dirt from the floor. She didn't care though, her eyes were topaz back to there original color. So she was happy she couldn't complain now. She needed to change, and Emmett would no doubt realize that now. She needed to get home, change into something more... comfortable and clean. Then here and Emmett could spend more time together. "Garh, i need to change, i don't like wearing these there filthy" she stated. She looked around the forest, there really was nothing special about it. Sometime with all the family they'd need to go further a field. Like across to Canada or something.
Truth be told Rosalie had totally forgotten what her point was going to be about hunting. All she knew was that it had something to do with Jasper. But that was it, she laughed, as her laugh sounded out through the forest. She really couldn't remember at all. Weird she didn't normally just let things disappear out of her mind like that. She guessed it was just Emmett, he distracted her from everything she was thing. He looked so amazing. She wasn't proud of the reason she originally saved him, or took him to Carlisle to be saved. "I dunno what my point was... " a confused expression spread across her face, as her eyebrows drew together and a small crease appeared in between them. "Its your fault, you distract me" she grinned. But she now couldn't ever deny her true feeling toward him, she'd never want anything else. Though she couldn't believe she'd fell for Royce, he was so pathetic compared to Emmett. Emmett in Rose's opinion was a real man and always would be.
"Really?" she joked as she raised one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows. She could wait till they got back to the house but she wouldn't want to wait too long. She really wanted to start walked back to the house now. But she'd wait for Emmett. See what he wanted to do. "Well do you want to start walking back now?" she asked, she didn't want to do anything with Emmett till she got herself clean. She hated being mucky but hell, she needed to hunt as well and her thirst always won out over everything else. She smiled at Emmett. Before tightening her grip on his hand. "Come on" she smiled. As she tried to drag him forward back in the direction of the house. Emmett might have been in better control of his needs more than Rosalie was at the moment. But hell, her moods changed so quickly when they got back to the house she'd probably be wanting something completely different.

Okay … she needed to change, that fact had been established. She apparently hadn’t exactly mastered the art of killing while staying spotless, the way Edward had. Even Emmett himself managed to pull it off, every now and then. More often than not he made a mess of himself, but today he was in relatively good condition. It didn’t matter how much of a mess was made, though, as long as the aim of the trip was accomplished. The goal of hunting was to fill up on animal blood so that all the humans they interacted with weren’t in terrible danger. Mind you, for the danger was still there – just not quite as much. He glanced down at the body of the animal he’d killed, then back at her.
“Let’s get out of here.” He didn’t really want to stay here any longer than he had to. There were much more valuable things they could be doing with their time at home. At least they hadn’t had to go too far. Sometimes they had to run almost as far as Canada, if not straight into it. It was a good thing that the cold didn’t bother them, he supposed. Now, what point had she been trying to make about Jasper and him never missing? Apparently she’d forgotten it, so he would too. It wasn’t important enough to hang on to. A lot of people thought of him as being pretty thoughtless and rash, but he really just didn’t like to hang on to information that he’d probably never need or want.
“I distracted you? And I wasn’t even trying. Damn, I’m good.” Classic Emmett. He knew that she was easily distracted when he was the one doing the distracting. The same could be said of him – she really didn’t have to do much at all to distract him from the task at hand. Unless that task just happened to be a baseball game. But chances were that she’d be playing in that, too. Emmett knew about Rosalie’s story before she’d become a vampire – but he’d never really asked for it in detail. He knew the basics, yes, and he knew that he was never going to let Rosalie get hurt again. She’d been through too much already. She was beautiful and precious and he’d always protect her.
“Really. If I have to.” Yes, he could wait – if she could. He started to follow after her, nodding in answer to her question about walking back. “Sure. Or we could always run.” He grinned at her. He was all for that option, as long as she didn’t take off and leave him behind. He knew that she wanted to get back, and so did he. He felt her grip on his hand tighten, and he started to move just a little bit faster. It seemed they were on the same page, for now at least.

She smiled at his cockiness. He was so full of his own importance it should have annoyed her. As when other people were like that she nearly always shouted them down. Not taking it from anyone. But this was Emmett. Her emmey bear, she never intentionally would start an argument with him or even really shout at him. It was only Edward... Alice and Jasper that really got the full force of Rosalie's worse side. As they were always the best to argue with. Well maybe not Alice as she could think up replies quicker than you could decide what to say. "Don't you think your special today..." her perfectly pronounced words were heavily laced with sarcasm. Something she was extremely good at doing. "Well Emmett... Really, don't get a head of yourself your not that good" she laughed.
"If you want to wait I can... unless you don't want to of course, then I’m all up for it" she snickered at Emmett. Of course she didn't want to wait at all. She wanted to get home as soon as she could. So she'd have Emmett all to herself again, as she doubted there would be anyone in the house of the time being. Pretty much everyone had other things to do now, Edward was so tide up with keeping Bella safe, Carlisle was always at the hospital. Alice was... Alice was just shifty, never staying to long in the same place... which meant that Jazz would follow her. So there shouldn't really be anyone in the house, unless they got extremely unlucky.
"Well i would run, but i don't want to leave you behind... There no point in my getting home on my own" she smiled her, her perfectly seductive smile. Showing just the right amount of teeth, but not making it too much of a cheesy grin. That really wasn't attractive in Rosalie opinion at all. She smiled as she started to move in the direction the house was quicker. Picking up the pace a little. She didn't want to walk to slowly, she didn't want to have to wait for hours before they got back. And she didn't want to seem to reluctant to get back to the house. She knew Emmett wouldn't be pleased with that. "Come on, you can move fast than that..." Rose said, as she pulled forward some more. So she was still in front of Emmett. Hopefully bringing out his more competitive side, which normally wouldn't be too hard to do. Never was really.

Hey, Emmett wasn’t cocky. He just knew his own worth. Was that really such a bad thing? He knew that if he’d been anybody else, Rosalie would have fought with him over it. But he wasn’t anybody else, was he? Nope. He was none other than Emmett Cullen. Rosalie would never get mad at him over something as silly as that. She cared about him enough to put up with a few of his more annoying little habits. The others always got the worst of it – especially Edward and Jasper. It really didn’t do her any good to argue with Alice, as the little pixie freak always seemed to know where an argument was going.
“Today? Baby, I’m special everyday.” He was about to leave it at that when she said that he wasn’t ‘that good’. Oh, really? Well then why didn’t she want to wait? He smirked down at her. “Oh, I can wait. Besides, I’m not that good anyway, right?” He picked up the pace a little. He could wait, but not too long. They’d probably be alone, unless Esme was at home. He fought the urge to growl at her remark about leaving him behind. Leave him behind? Damn, that was a low blow.
“Fine, then. Just walk fast.” He grumbled, not happy that she’d made fun of his speed – or lack thereof. He did pick up on what she was trying to say with that smile of hers, though. It was true – there was no point in her getting home all by herself. Then she’d have to wait around for him to show up, and he doubted that she’d take any joy in that. At least she hadn’t given him some annoying cheesy grin, right? Then again, maybe that would have been better. He could have made fun of her a little, for that.
Oh, she was trying to get him to move faster? Now she was just asking for it. She was ahead of him, and he didn’t like the thought of being left behind. Yes, he could move faster. He picked up the pace, glowering at her. If she wanted to bring out his competitive side, she’d succeeded. They were side-by-side, now, and he wondered if she’d step it up even more or if she’d be happy with this pace. “This fast enough for you?”

"Everyday might be pushing it a little though Em, i mean yesterday? nothing extraordinary happened then did it?" a small laugh crept past her lips. Emmett really was something else, he was certainly the one she wanted to spend forever with. She was always so caught up with him, everything about him was so distracting. That was it, he could wait... yeah right he could wait. Rose smiled to herself as she carried on moving through the forest. Heading in the same direction towards the Cullen home. She stopped abruptly, before turning on Emmett, well if he said he could wait Rose would have to do something about that. She reached up, placing a kiss straight onto his lips, letting her lips crush onto his. "You said you can wait? well okay then... if you want too wait" She said as again she quickly pulled away. So she could let herself get too carried away with it. But she started moving again through the forest. That was enough for Rose she couldn't wait even if Emmett could. She didn't want too.
"Oh come on, we are walking fast, unless you want to try and run, i'll jog so i stay near you and don't leave you behind" her flawless voice chimed out. As she smiled again at Emmett. The minor flaw about his speed was nothing she really didn't care how fast he could run. She didn't care about any of his flaws really all she wanted was him, nothing else nothing more... well one thing more... but she couldn't let that get in the way of her relationship with Emmett. She still held on to Emmett’s hand like a rock, she wasn't wanting to let go for any reason at all. She didn't want to ever let go of his hand. Just he warmth of it -well it was warm to her- as there temperature was roughly the same. It all felt so perfect.
She noted the speed that he was now moving at, faster than he was before, as she'd let him get ahead of her. She hadn't really noticed that he was now level with her. "Its faster but again not fast enough" her eyebrows drew together as if she was seriously thinking about something again. She picked up her speed just a little, not so she would speed ahead of Emmett, just so she was gaining ground again from him, and she didn't want to let go of his hand unless she had too, like if she really decided it would be worth running back to the house. Getting there way before Emmett did. But she was sure she would want to do that to him, she didn't want him to be out of her site at all.
"Well, it looks like you do have some speed in you after all..." she laced her words with sarcasm again.

Emmett laughed at her. He didn’t have to be doing anything extraordinary to be special, now, did he? He shrugged his shoulders. “Not that I can remember.” He’d let it drop at that, if she would. There was no use arguing about it, right? All he really wanted right now was to be close to her, anyway. The thought of the long walk -- or run -- home was almost painful. She was as much of a distraction to him as he was to her – not that he needed much to distract him. Most people thought he was way too easily distracted as it was. He wasn’t. He just had different priorities than they did. His were more concerned with sports and Rosalie.
Had he really told her that he could wait? He was rethinking that right now. The walk was starting to seem longer and longer, and they would be home none too soon. So – what to do? He could be a good boy and wait, or he could be himself and not. When she kissed him, he wondered if they’d make it all the way home. Maybe, maybe not. He doubted it, with the way he was feeling right now. Why would he ever tell her that he could wait? Was he insane? Damn it. He stalked after her, moving as fast as she was. Emmett stayed silent until she took another jab as his lack of speed. He growled at her.
“You know, you’re really pushing it, baby.” It was really a good thing that he couldn’t stay mad at her, or he would have been. It lasted for all of about two seconds, until she smiled at him. Then, it was gone. His world was perfect when she smiled. He shrugged his shoulders and broke into a run. She’d probably run circles around him, but he could deal with that. It didn’t look like she’d be releasing her iron grip on his hand any time soon, so she wouldn’t be outrunning him. He smirked at her when she said it was faster – but not fast enough. Not fast enough? Damn.
“Well we’re not all speed demons, Rose.” She was gaining ground again, and it was making him a little irritated. That last sarcastic remark did it, though. He stopped short, pulling her back to him. He had decided that he couldn’t wait. “Come here, you.” He said, laughing as he pulled her to him. At least when they weren’t moving she couldn’t mock his lack of speed, right? Not that that had anything to do with this.

Rose couldn’t help but smile at Emmett. She was completely engrossed with him, nothing could ever change that she wasn't going to let it. There were some things in her life she wanted for keeps. Emmett was one of them, and well always would be. "See, babe... your not that special" she was of course joking with him, he was more than special. She on the other hand was little more than average for a vampire. Yes she had the looks that could kill anything just by looking at it, but she wasn't talented. An average vampire? if there was such a thing. She laughed, a small high pitched laugh. Much more like her sister Alice's laugh, than her own, more lower pitched laugh... Which was more shocking than pleasing, she didn't want to sound like Alice. Damn, she was so annoying.
Well if she was pushing it, which she knew she was that was her original intention, she didn't want to just let it drop. After so long of Emmett being able to take the piss out of her, finally a chance to get her own back, something that she didn't do often as for fear of offending him. Something she dreaded doing. "Oh come on, Emm, its not that bad... you do have your good points... like your strength..." she said. In her normal happiest -or as happy as Rosalie could ever sound- voice. She was normally stressed, or her voice was laced with thoughts. As she spent a hell of allot more time thinking about things than she had ever done before. It was an amazingly good thing neither one of them could stay mad at each other, well if they ever did stay mad at each Rose would have been in the dog house so to speak. As she wasn't the most educated when it came to telling people what she thought... nicely? as she nearly all the time managed to upset or get on the wrong side of the person she was arguing with all the time.
Well really she wasn't that fast, well not fast compared to her brother Edward. He was the quicker from the family, he was supper fast. He could out run anything. Which was a bonus for him, but annoyed Rose allot. She hated not being as good as someone else at something and well running was one of them. But she wasn't going to let that ruin her mood again, she'd had enough of being upset. It wasn't her, it made her feel weak. "We don't all act like wild animals either babe... So you know maybe if you tried... you could become faster, though i doubt that would work... i guess you've already been trying... " she halted her ramblings, as she had drifted from aiming her comments at Emmett. To just general realizations.
She let herself be pulled back towards Emmett, she didn't want to pull away or even try to resist by trying to keep moving forward. "Nice..." she commented. She let herself morph around Emmett's perfect body. Her arms wound delicately around his waist, she looked up at him, well she planted her lips straight on his. There was only so long that Rose could wait, and apparently now she wasn't prepared to wait any longer for Emmett. Not really that surprising. She had always been like that.

It was amazing how, even when they were mocking each other, the two of them could still keep smiling. Maybe it was because they knew that it wasn’t really serious? Maybe. They were going to be together forever, so they had all the time in the world to make it up to one another. Emmett smirked at her when she said that he wasn’t so special. Not so special? “Well I’m sorry, baby. Guess I’m just not good enough for Vampire Barbie” It was true that Rosalie was very close to the perfect, blonde-haired ideal that was Barbie – but so much better because she was real. He knew that he was more special than she was letting on; in this situation, he was more special than she was. Not that he’d ever believe that. He wondered what she was laughing at. Was she laughing at him? Oh, hell no.
“Oh, I do have some good points? Good to know I’ve got something.” He really wasn’t irritated with her anymore, not much anyway. He just wasn’t used to her doing this that was all. She usually didn’t make fun of him, not to this degree. She seemed not to want to offend him – which he should really be grateful for. She didn’t seem to care if she offended anybody else. She was just very, very lucky that he wasn’t able to stay mad at her.
Rosalie, not that fast? Emmett wouldn’t have agreed with that one. She could definitely beat him in a race, any time anywhere. Edward managed to completely embarrass him, on a regular basis. Then again, Edward wasn’t nearly as strong as he was. He supposed that he at least had something that separated him from the rest. He zoned in on her comment about acting like wild animals. Hey, who was she calling a wild animal?
“Who you calling a wild animal, babe?” Emmett asked, just a little bit amused. So he was a bit wilder than the rest of them – was that really so bad? “I always thought you liked my wild side.” He ignored the rest, about how he could get faster if he tried, and how he’d probably already been trying. Ouch. He was pretty sure that he just wasn’t meant to ever be as fast as Edward or even Rosalie. That thought vanished when he pulled her back to him, though. He didn’t have thoughts about anything other than her.
“Changed my mind.” He muttered, before she kissed him. His mind seemed to go wonderfully blank, then, and he was acting on instinct alone. His arms closed around her waist as he pulled away. He really didn’t need to breathe, but it had become a habit. “I don’t want to wait.”

Barbie? Really, did he really see her as a Barbie. That was absolutely brilliant he thought she was a Barbie, at least he didn't think she was a slag or anything, Rose was happy with the term Barbie, even though she wouldn't admit that to anyone. Who wants to know or even talk to someone who classed them selves as a Barbie? "Well my baby Emmy Bear, vampire Barbie... well vampire Barbie, thinks you do have some uses" she snickered back at him. She thought the world of Emmett, everything about him was perfection, there was nothing that he couldn't do, that she wouldn’t think was perfect. And what ever he thought of Rosalie really didn't bother her any more; she'd been called worse from many of the vampires the Cullen's knew. As allot of them hated her, for some strange and obscure reason, well not hate but dislike would have been a better word to use.
"Hunni, you have everything" she beamed a smile at him, he was good for something, but there was generally nothing that Emmett couldn't do. Or anything Emmett wouldn't do. Even if it was something completely dangerous, he'd still try and do it like he didn't care about the out come of it. but that was her Emmett. She wouldn't have expected anything less from him, who would? anyone that knew anything about Emmett would know not to expect common sense from him. He always rushed into thing quick, and thought about it later. Which was nearly the complete opposite of what Rose did. Though she knew she over thought allot of stuff as well, which wasn't good. As that normally ended up with her getting extremely angry or upset over something that really was nothing at all. Typical blonde she guessed, well old habits died hard right?
"You can't say your nothing like an animal, everyone compares you to bares and stuff... not me though, it all a matter of perspective, as I’d class you as more of puppy dog" she joked, she quickly raised one of her perfectly shaped eyebrows, Alice’s handy work, then let it fall again almost as quickly as it had risen. Though there were thing about him that could link back to a puppy. Like him being so sweet, well Rose always thought he was, he'd do anything you asked of him, and she loved him for it. She never wanted to change him ever. Well not that aspect of him. "Your wild side? Really? i never really knew it was that much of a wild side" again she was joking with him. When you saw him hunt you'd know his wild side was... un-manageable at time. Again though she wouldn't change it about him.
Her lips twisted up at the sides, as she heard him say changed my mind, "and here was me thinking that you could have waited till we got back to the house" she mumbled against his lips, though she knew he’d have been able to work out what she said to him, vampire hearing and everything. Though her perfectly shaped lips, still crushed onto his. As they moved against his, her tongue darted past her teeth trying to find its way to connect with Emmett’s. Human habits were okay to live with, but sometimes they just got in the way, not that Rose cared she didn't really have any other thoughts than that of her and Emmett. Being together, that’s all she ever wanted and this was bliss.

When Emmett called Rosalie ‘vampire Barbie’, he really meant it in the best way. Hey, Barbie was the ideal beauty, right? Or so they said back in the day. Not so much anymore, but that didn’t change Emmett’s opinion on Rosalie. He didn’t realize that she actually liked being called that, though, or she would have been in for some never-ending mockery. Really, who wanted to be compared to a Barbie? Then again, Rosalie always had been vain. Not even he was stupid enough to say that, though. Hell no.
Again with the ‘Emmy Bear’. Emmett rolled his eyes. Wait, what was that? She thought he had some uses. He laughed at her as he shook his head. “Some uses? It’d be pretty pathetic if I wasn’t good for anything.” He knew that she was (probably) just messing with his head now. He knew that Rosalie loved him, no matter what. Even if he did somehow end up being useless, she’d be there for him. The up side was that he wasn’t some useless junk of scrap metal. Nope, not him. He laughed when she finally admitted that he had everything.
“Now that’s more like it.” He was, as Rosalie could tell you, just a little bit cocky sometimes. He’d try anything once, pretty much, even if it was likely to leave him seriously injured. Sometimes it was almost like he didn’t think he could get hurt or die. And for the most part, he really didn’t think about that aspect of it. It was often just something he had to try. Rosalie knew what he was like, and she didn’t try to stop him. She wasn’t like him in that respect, though. She actually thought things through, where he jumped in headfirst. He didn’t see the point in thinking about things too much. Where did it get you, anyway? Upset and worried about something that was a non-issue.
Emmett growled at her, a grin on his face. “Puppy dog? Are you serious?” He’d prefer the bear comparison any day, but then again he supposed Rosalie had never been a target for his more intimidating side. But a puppy dog? What the hell kind of dog was he supposed to be, a Great Dane? He didn’t think of himself as being sweet or overly loyal, except to Rosalie. So why would she compare him to a dog? And … what was this about him not having much of a wild side. He shrugged. “Maybe you’re just used to it.” He really could get out of hand, sometimes. A couple times he’d gotten to the point where he’d nearly scared even himself.
Emmett wasn’t really paying attention to what she was saying right now. He knew somewhere in the back of his mind that she was still poking fun at him, but it didn’t matter. He could be irritated with her later. Right now, the only thing that mattered was being close and them both getting what they wanted. His lips parted, just a little bit, teasing Rosalie. Hey, she’d been making fun of him all day.
