The Scarred Warrior!!!
.F.or far too long these lands were left untouched. Uninhabited after the earthquake struck. Oh yes, many knew of these once-great lands. As a matter of fact, some who left passed the tale on to their young, as I am now.
.O.ne such mare told her daughter Tikalya, who told her son Daeveri in turn. Daeveri loved these tales, often asking the elders who lived upon the Scarred Warrior so long ago about them. That's when Daeveri struck gold.
.T.he young stud found the elder who chose isolation. Spiritspawn. Not taking no for an answer, Daeveri soon learned everything the others would not tell. He learned of the Feared One and of the tribes. The Alliance and their leader. All of this changed the colt.
.H.is eyes once sparkled with innocence now hardened with hatred. Learning so much from such a dark being took its toll. Day after day he would return to the stallion and lay in awe before him. Not once did it occur to the colt that the stallion before him was the fabled Feared One, or that he was using the colt.
.C.ome the part of the tale about the painted lady, the colt was no longer himself and he was too far gone to be saved. A hatred boiled deep in his heart for all mares and paints, and eventually all horses. The colt began picturing the land, how it could be his, and the stallion was pleased with how far the colt progressed. He told the colt the way, in hopes he would become Feared One and recreate the tribes.
.T.hat Daeveri did with great pleasure. Abandoned and forgotten the lands lay. Silently and alone, he began the journey and turned from colt to stallion. When he reached the promised lands, he was completely fulfilled. For the moment. After setting up the tribes and his own lands, he grew impatient. No one was around for him to begin his own legacy, and so he passed time with the sea dragon, doing quests to gain power. That's when he noticed, sprawled by the oasis one day, other equine entering his lands.
