the city of san francisco, california, was home to three
of the most powerful witches to ever live - the charmed ones.
piper, phoebe, and paige halliwell each possessed unique powers,
that when put together could bring down anything. in their time they
banished thousands of demons, destroyed the source of all evil twice,
and also managed to keep a balanced life. each of the girls did have
their weaknesses, though, and finally a smart higher level demon used
each of their weaknesses against them. piper's sons, wyatt and chris,
had been kidnapped and in order to get them back she would have to
go a different plane - it was a trap, and as a result the demon took her
life and spared her sons. phoebe was in love with a man - or angel,
as some would rather believe - coop, otherwise known as cupid. the
demon used the same tactic and lured phoebe to another plane, taking her
life and sparing coops. last left was paige; the demon for the last time
used this tactic - threatening the lives of her twin daughters and her son -
but paige had foiled his plan. she had discovered what he had done to
her sisters, and she was determined to vanquish his sorry ass. and so she
did - she was the only halliwell sister to survive.
though piper and phoebe had not left this earth without making
sure the halliwell name would continue on long after their deaths.
piper had two sons and a daughter with a whitelighter (leo), chris, wyatt
and melinda ,all of whom survived. phoebe herself had given birth to three
daughters - peyton, prue (named after her deceased oldest sister),
and pandora. yes, that's right, there were three of them. continuing
in the halliwell tradition these three sisters took on the name of being
the next charmed ones. paige had her own children - persephony,
penelope and henry. years have gone by now, paige has passed on
but not without guiding her nieces in carrying on the charmed ones
legacy and teaching her nephews and own children the craft of magic
and the duties of a whitelighter. what's left of the halliwells still reside
in san francisco, struggling to fill in the large shoes that the generation
before them had left behind. recently, though, other magical beings
- both good and evil - have been coming out of the woodwork. now
it's time for the halliwell family - and the friends they've made - to
combine their skills to take on whatever's to come their way and to
banish the supposed new source of all evil.
can they do it? only time will tell.
