overall appearence;; Emma is a fairly plain girl with hair that's too bright for her standards. The red hair that is always flaming around her face is something that sets her apart from most people. Though, like most redheads she is unable to tan in the least bit. That isn't her favourite part of the whole gene pool but it happens. The girl's eyes are her favourite part of her looks. They're a plain brown, darker then her hair but still from the same tint-shade chart.
The girl tends to wear things that are inconspicious. She wears dark colors often such as black, brown, or dark blues and greens. Though, she rarely wears anything bright. Elm will never wear skirts, she just flat out refuses, so for the most part she wears pants. Though, she doesn't mind sometimes getting into a dress, but only for special occasions. Even then, she usually wears a long dark dress.

overall Personallity;; Em is the kind of girl to be quiet and doesn't talk to anyone. She prefers it that way. She's a very passive person and won't stand up for herself in an argument so she just decides not to talk to many people. Though, the people who do talk to her get to know that she's stubburn for certain things, but if it's anything else she doesn't care. If it's for her photography she is able to take a compliment or critisizm, though she likes the compliments better. Unless, she knows it isn't true.
The girl doesn't like people who are not honest with her, though because of that she can be hypocritical at times. She lies to teachers when it comes to the reasons for her work not being finished, and will lie if she things it's necissary. Elm loves quotes and is usually able to referance a couple quotes per day, whether it be in her head or if she says it out loud, usually though she says her quotes out loud.

your history;; Emma was born to a middle class family in Canada, which was her birth place. Her parents, sister, and brother on the other hand were all born in the States. They all lived in Quebec city untill she was nine, then her mother was pregnant again, so they moved to San Fransisco so they wouldn't have another baby born in Canada. It wasn't that they minded, it was just a hassle to get Elm across the border.
During the time she moved everyone spoke to her in english, living in Quebec she knew both english and french. Though, the problem was, was that she knew a whole lot more french then she did english. Though, she eventually learned the language and to speak it fluently, though there was a lot of teasing along the way. The students at her school never liked her, that she was Canadian, that she spoke almost only french, that she was different. But, she got through it, though she was taken in to be home-schooled. When she was home-schooled through her seventh grade her sister left to become a teacher, though Elm never knew why anyone would want to become a teacher
When she was in high school, her mother couldn't keep her in the house any longer, she had to go to school. She had to see the people that once made fun of her. Though, it wasn't as hard as she thought it would be, it was no where near easy. The whole experience made her passive and quiet. She didn't like large crowds and unfortunatly never made any friends. And, it didn't help that during her freshman year, her brother went back to Quebec to go to a college there.
Her first year in high school was relatively easy. Though, her parents knew that she wasn't fitting in. So, they made a solution. They wanted to move down into a smaller town, and it just so happened that she went to Forks. She never liked Forks high school, so in the middle of her sophmore year she wanted to switch to the La Push high school. The reason being is that the rumor was, was that there were less people there then in the Forks high school. The school board wouldn't allow her unless she lived in La Push, so her wonderful father moved her there.

rp sample;; Tate closed her eyes trying to get to sleep. It wasn't cold out, but it wasn't anywhere close to warm. The colder part of the year was to come later. Though, then it was a pretty cold night for what it normally was in District 9. As she fluttered her eyes open she sighed. She simply wouldn't be able to get to sleep. Too bad for her.
The girl sighed pushing herself up from the semi-warm bed she had put herself in the night before. Though, it wasn't wise she wasn't going to just stay in the house when she could be doing something useful. Taking her hunting boots she slid them on. She didn't care that her pajamas were still on. She was going hunting, besides, they were brown and dark green for that very reason. And, there was no use of taking them off when she would most likely be sleeping later. Feeling for her dagger under her bed she strapped it on her left boot and stood up. She looked at her bow. Her parents had gave her that for her most recent birthday, at least when they were alive anyways.
A look of sorrow came from her eyes. She didn't even know her parents that well, but it was something about them that made her so sad. They were her flesh and blood, the ones that brought her into existence. She had to feel something whenever she thought of them. Her emotion just happened to be sorrow, but she wouldn't cry. She cried to much for other things. There wasn't much use of crying over something that had already happened.
Taking her bow and a small pack full of arrows she strapped them both to her back and started her way out the door. Her brother and sister would know where she was by the time they were awake, and if she was back before hand that would be great as well. But, she wasn't about to do the laundry when there were animals to be caught.
Tate opened the door and cautiously looked outside seeing nothing but darkness. She wished that she had glasses for night. Some people from District 11 had them, but not a lot of people from District 9. Sure, there were some wealthy hunters with the glasses, but that was about it. She couldn't afford them. Quietly steeping toward the forest she called her home she looked around and tried to listen for every sound of danger. Surprisingly there wasn't much to prey on. It wasn't normal, even if it was the night. There were usually some raccoons or something. But, there wasn't anything there at that time. Confused she heard at twig crack the girl held her breath quietly grabbing her bow and an arrow pointing the arrow in the direction she heard the sound from.
